In February 2013, Seattle’s legendary grunge pioneers Soundgarden concluded a sold-out U.S. Winter tour in support of King Animal (2012), their first studio album in over sixteen years, with a special Live From The Artists Den taping at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.

Soundgarden mixed new songs with classic radio hits and rarities performed live for the first time, in front of a rapturous crowd. The concert has become the most requested Soundgarden show to be released of all-time. The 29 song, nearly two-and-a-half-hour show encompasses the band’s entire legacy of songs, from their early years and debut release “Hunted Down” (Screaming Life EP, 1987) through their monumental albums Badmotorfinger (1991) and Superunknown (1994) respectively with “Outshined” and “Black Hole Sun” and nearly every song from King Animal including “By Crooked Steps” and “Been Away Too Long”.

Six years following the original taping, Artists Den in partnership with UMC, will release a suite of products for Soundgarden: Live from the Artists Den. A fitting tribute to the late, great Chris Cornell.

The stunning Limited Edition Super Deluxe Boxset includes four 180g audiophile quality vinyl LPs; along with bonus 2xCD; the complete 29 song concert film in 5.1 surround sound and stereo (along with more than 30 minutes of bonus interviews with the band) on Blu-ray; a 40-page photo book; four band member lithos; replica artist all-access pass and a replica ticket stub, all housed in a lift-top collar-style box.

The Standard 4xLP is pressed on 180g black audiophile quality vinyl, and features four individual jackets, 2-panel insert and slipcase.
