On the 6th April 1974 Hooked On A Feeling by Blue Swede / Björn Skifs reached the No1 on Billboard Hot 100. This was the first time a Swedish artist reached No1 in the US. 
An historic moment for the Swedish Music Industry and it put Sweden on the worldwide music map as one of the most influential countries in the world. The song has since then had a lifetime success with appearances in movies like Reservoir Dogs (Tarrantino) and Guardians Of The Galaxy and has continuously reached a new audience. This year it also passed 600 million streams on Spotify and we´re still counting high numbers.
